Funnel Vision: Marketing for courses and online businesses
The anti-guru-ific, honest truth about running an online business
Pull up a chair, my dear!
We’re talking to women who’ve built real online businesses (especially course creators) and we’re dissecting how they actually sell their stuff.
Launches, sales, what worked, what belly-flopped, what they’d never do again.
You’ll get the behind-the-scenes story, not the shiny, perfect version, so you can pick up ideas for your own business without having to make all their mistakes first.

Honored to host…

EPISODE 4
Blimie Heller
Intuition-led business: How I ignore the hustle rules (and still win :)
What if you ran your business by feel? Adored parenting coach, Blimie Heller, does exactly that, and it’s changed everything for her.
We schmooze about:
The “body check” she uses to know which ideas are aligned
Why desperation energy kills launches, and how to shift your mental state before you sell
Webinars + more emails, sans the saleskeit (and why she actually enjoyed it)
How to approach asking people to pay for your things, when it feels SO awkward.
This one’s grounding, freeing, and surprisingly practical!

EPISODE 3
Mushka Gopin
Mediocre to Magnetic: Raising the bar on course marketing
Ever wonder why so many frum funnels feel… copy-paste? Mushka Gopin, marketing genius - and genius in general - goes on a refreshing rant about it!
In this convo, she shares how she went from following the “big names” to building launches that actually feel good to send. We talk about:
fake scarcity (and why it backfires in small markets)
story-based emails that people reply to, not roll their eyes at
keeping your word, keeping your people → integrity in action
consent-based marketing (yes, she lets people opt out at the top of every launch email)
and what her summit revealed about raising the bar for frum creators
Everything that Mushka puts out into the world is polished and sophisticated, with trademark Mushka-ness written all over it. Super excited to learn from her!

EPISODE 2
Debbie Sassen
Lessons culled from YEARS of launching: Charisma, paid webinars, and a business designed to last

We schmoozed about:
The most effective way to grow your list (and why PDFs aren’t it)
Paid webinars
How she reacts when people unsubscribe
The one email list she’s still on, and why she’ll probably unsubscribe soon
Why your real personality is the strongest conversion tool you have
How copy became the make-or-break skill for online business
What it actually takes to make your business last
Debbie mixes heart, humor, and straight talk about our online world. No fluff, no hype, just real strategy and staying power.

EPISODE 1
Shoshana Schwartz
The behind-the-scenes-scoop on how I launch my course
You HATE selling, but know your course really helps people? This conversation is your roadmap.
Shoshana, beloved Mishpacha writer, author, and codependency expert, shares how she went from hitting a 1:1 ceiling to scaling a course and membership (mostly by email). We explore:
The one-word tweak that flipped her copy
Why her sales sequence doesn’t feel gross
Why “record it once, reuse forever” didn’t survive real students
The experiential platform she uses: gamified progress, satisfying dings, and true community
I love how she just keeps tweaking, staying in sync with her audience, and growing with confidence - yes, she has her photograph on every email!
Who is this Sara person?
Hi, I’m Sara Peltz.
I’ve been part of plenty of launches, some smooth sailing straight to Happy Money Land, others that nearly capsized.
Here’s the thing: launches aren’t magic, and they’re not about “10k guru secrets.” They’re about doing the right work, in the right order, and lots of it, so you actually reach the shore (and get to flop on the beach while the sales roll in 🙂).
That’s what this podcast is about: celebrating the real work behind online business launches, and learning how to make them smoother, smarter, and way less stressful every time.
